How to Sync Notes with a Live Show

The Time-line Studio app is Time-line’s desktop tool for editing and running shows live.

It includes the same note-editing functionality as the web app, so you can prepare and refine your cues in the same way.

In addition, Studio lets you sync those notes to a live performance. When connected to compatible DJ gear over a local network (no internet required), it follows the tracks being played in real time and keeps your notes aligned — even if the DJ skips tracks, loops, or jumps ahead.

In beta, Studio can also trigger external actions via OSC or MIDI, allowing you to control lighting, visuals, or other show elements directly from your timeline.
